Beyond Seen Screen makes any video interactive and engageable. The service we provide is two-fold. On one hand, we provide viewers with an interactive and mystical layer of information linked to the video content they’re watching. On the other hand, we allow production and advertising companies to unleash creativity and engage viewers with their content in new ways. And as a byproduct, generate new revenue streams.
Beyond Seen Screen (BSS) allows your smartphone or tablet to scan video content and easily and quickly get information about what you're watching. All you need to do is focus your smartphone to your video content and get the information you want. It's that simple.

Imagine that you’re watching a film on TV based on a true story and that you are interested in details of those true events. Or that you’re watching a music video and you want to know where the artist is on tour and where to buy tickets for concerts. Or maybe you want to quickly get to the recipe that chef is preparing on your favorite cooking show. If you are a person who believes that these infotainals should be easy to get, then you are thinking like us. We thought that, and then we made it happen.

How it works
Using the Beyond Seen Screen web application, content providers, such as video production companies, marketing agencies, etc., can link additional information to their video content and make that additional information layer accessible to content viewers. Content viewers can use the Beyond Seen Screen mobile app to scan the video where the platform recognizes the video and provides viewers with the information that content providers have prepared for them.

Technology

The Beyond Seen Screen platform infrastructure has been developed and deployed to the cloud. The Android mobile application and the administrator/customer portal are also developed and functional. Extensive testing has been conducted in different environments. These tests have proven the technology works for users in the real world. The testing has enabled Beyond Seen Screen to attain technical readiness level 7 (TRL 7) in April 2017.
